Bora-Boras

When I was in high school, my dad was assigned to a base outside of Madrid, Spain.  My parents felt that we should experience as much of the local culture as possible, so they let us experience the Madrid nightlife since there’s no drinking age in Spain.  One of our favorite bars was called Bora-Boras.  It was a theme bar, with an indoor waterfall and a tropical feel.  Their drinks were all served in really cool glasses, such as the pina coladas served in pineapple glasses.  The best part was that the drinks were served with these incredibly long straws, so you could lounge back in your chair while sipping your drink that was still on the table.  I really hope that someday I can go back to Madrid and see if Bora-Boras is still there, so I can split a wickedly good Mai-Tai with my husband.

Bountiful Baskets

I tried something new last week.  A friend told me about an organization called Bountiful Baskets.  They try to buy produce from local farmers, but if they can’t get everything they want from local sources they find small growers as close as possible.  You have a twenty-four hour period to buy your basket, and you choose between a conventional basket and an organic one.  Then, early Saturday morning you head to your pickup place.  You have to be there right on time, because after twenty minutes they donate any food that hasn’t been picked up to the fire department.  I got an insane amount of fresh produce for only fifteen dollars.  Even better, it forced me to figure out how to cook vegetables I have never bought before, like eggplant, squash, and artichokes.  I can’t wait for Saturday so I can get another basket.  It’s almost like Christmas!

My desire

I have never wanted to share my desire with anyone in the world so far. But now that I am asked to say something, I think I must say something about my desire. It is a strange desire indeed. I never want to let others know what kind of a man I really am. I don’t know how long I would be able to hide myself from other people’s prying eyes at all. I am not sure whether they have already succeeded in understanding my mind .there are times in life when we betray ourselves and leave the doors open for them to come in and see for themselves. If they have, let them do it and feel happy.

Wuthering heights

I read the novel the other day because a friend of mine in Delhi called me to buy a copy of the novel for his cousin who was at college; it was a prescribed text for them at college. I was really grateful to my friend for his asking me to get a copy for his cousin. I got a chance to read the novel too. I was teased for my reading the novel at this time of my age. My son asked me why I had taken so long to read it. But then he didn’t know I never got a chance to go to college like him since my father was too poor to send me to college. Fire Extinguishers

In ever place fire extinguishers should be in all kinds of building. Because life is very precious we have to protect our life from many risks and problems. We cannot life if there is no current in our home or office. So we are depending on the power is very more. Most of the fire exploitation was done by electric power disorder. So to avoid those fire dangers we have to maintain co2 fire extinguishers. We can stop the fire by fire extinguishers is very easy than water. We cannot stop the fire burning with petroleum products by water. On that type of co2 fire extinguishers are very help full. In our world most of the accidents occur only by fire. To prevent those dangers fire extinguishers are necessary.

My food

I enjoy all kinds of foods as long as they don’t give me indigestion and fat. I used to be a vegetarian for fifteen years till my doctor advised me to take non-veg as well .But since then I have been feeling that I am committing a sin in eating fish and meat. But if you don’t believe in such thing as sin, everything is okay as my friend often says. We aren’t given to eating much meat at home though my children insist on having fish everyday. I am not in a mood to share my sin with others and so let me come to nice finish about my food habits here. I hope you will excuse me for that

My day

I have a busy day every day. I get up at 5 o’clock. After morning routines of washing and bath and I leave home for work at 6 o’ clock .I take a round of ride about the town and meet some of my clients and come back home at 1 o’clock for lunch .After a nap ,I leave for work again to get back home at eight o’clock to supper. I pray to god for half an hour and then sit till I feel like sleeping working on the computer .I don’t know if I am working but I pretend to be working since I don’t want my wife to think that I am making a waste of the bucks I earn in the day

His American Cousin

If I were allowed to meet someone in flesh and blood, it would definitely be Abraham Lincoln having a friendly chat with John wilkesbooth who shot him dead at the theatre. I have read of him ever since my school days and I have adored him for his noble thoughts and deeds. He was a man of his words and a leader who touched the hearts of his people and who believed in the dignity of labor and equality of men in slavery in his own country. I am sure he would have forgiven his assassin and shared a cup of coffee with him.

My small world

I have been in the marketing field for more than fifteen years and I have always enjoyed it very much because of the fact that I can get in touch with as many people as I want to and know how people usually think when it comes to making a choice about buying something. But when I think of the bucks I make for my effort I don’t know how many of you might say that I have been a successful man in my line of work but is that how we judge things in life – in terms of the money we make for tomorrow? Well, in that case I must say that I have to think twice before I take my bag tomorrow morning at 6 o’ clock sharp. But I enjoy it very much for my own reasons.
