In the Holidays, I will spend some quality time with the family and play Christmas music. We will set up a tree, decorate it and furnish it with all the bells and ornaments we can find. Then we will make Christmas cookies and go around town singing Christmas carols to everyone. Afterwards, we will roast a chicken and make many side dishes for a large Christmas meal. The presents, which have already been bought, will be placed under the tree on Christmas eve for the family to open the next day. After that, well, it’s on to the next year!

I don’t know if it was the crows that woke me up or the free-floating anxiety about all there is to do today: Pack for the flight; find a Western Union agent so I can pay the electric bill; get supper ready for my family, mother-in-law, sister- and brother-in-law and their four kids; buy souvenirs for the folks back home and so on. Really, the day hasn’t gone all that far yet, because I’m still wrapped up in a blanket, thinking about the to-do list. So in once sense, it’s going splendidly, because all I’ve done is think about things. And while there’s a whole lot to think about, nothing has had the chance — yet — to go wrong.

Life has taught me a simple lesson, never give up what you have even if you don’t find it worth, not to give up until you really know if you are worth it. Sounds complicated right. It isn’t for the times I decided as I believe a man is responsible for his fate, there was this time what I had to rewrite this rule. I have a job, a lovely girl and a home. Of these I already have lost two most important things in my life and its hard as I trying to get back sitting in the loneliness of my home.

Lunch is what I am not actually fond of. But given a day I want to be someone to have lunch would be my parents my mom and dad. They both love food and I love to treat their taste buds with the best cuisine in town every time they come to meet and spend time with me. The reason being I have been staying away from them for close to 13 years now and just get 15 days in a year to be with them. And the time we spend together eating and taking about things that make us happy is worth it.

I am foodie and I not a foodie quite contrasting right. Yes it is. The reason being I tend to miss my breakfast and lunch and have a healthy dinner. And its not once but many a times my friends know me for that and wonder how I survive but I wonder what wrong with me at the same time. Love chocolates as they help me make myself happy. Chinese food is what I carve for all time coz of the simple taste and the time the food takes to be on your plate.

It’s a small happy family, my father retired after dully serving for all life and my mother into the education system who doesn’t want to take up a promotion as it will mean more time off her daily work that she can spend with my father. To company them is my pet, a sweetheart of my parents and he knows how to keep them busy all day long. My elder brother who works for a bank, and still doesn’t know the basics of debt burden ratio, and me who is enjoying his time out of work for quite some time.
